Apply for Guild Membership

Membership is FREE for 2025. Annual fees for 2026 and beyond are expected to be £45 per year.

Although the Guild is for individuals, we recognise that interaction with employers, customers and safety officers is important, so we have commercial sponsors who have funded us for this year. We intend to encourage more interaction with tent manufacturers, hirers and other employers, for mutual benefit. We will be offering reductions on training fees. We are run by volunteers, and currently have no secretariat. If we get funding for the future, the fees may be less. 

The website is being expanded and will include a chat section for members, a sort of Facebook for TentMasters.  We are negotiating for specialist insurance to cover our members at beneficial rates. The website will shortly have a library section with lots of useful info focussed on tented structures and event safety. We have agreed to put manufacturers information in separate links to provide full information on technical specifications and standards.
